Dubai Police will deploy its latest autonomous robotic patrol, DPR 02, at Global Village starting tomorrow, authorities announced at a press conference during GITEX Global 2025 on Tuesday.
The self-driving patrol is designed for autonomous movement and direct connection with the Command and Control Centre, enabling faster responses and enhanced precision in field operations.
Engineered for continuous operation, DPR 02 is equipped with AI-powered autonomous navigation, 360-degree surveillance cameras, and advanced sensors. The patrol can manoeuvre easily in urban and open environments, providing real-time, data-driven insights to support officers and ensure rapid decision-making.
Dubai Police described the deployment as a major milestone in its journey toward smart security, demonstrating its commitment to harnessing artificial intelligence and modern technologies to improve performance, reduce response times, and maintain Dubai’s position as a global pioneer in community-focused safety innovation.
