Luminar’s approach from the start was to develop an integrated hardware and software solution that safely unlocks autonomy at all levels. With Iris as the foundation, our software stack enables an unmatched level of reliability, precision, and confidence to enable next-generation safety features and hands-off, eyes-off highway autonomy.
All the work we’ve accomplished the past two years with Hydra, our test and development platform, ports over directly to Iris for series production. We remain on track to deliver an alpha version of Luminar’s Sentinel solution by year end with prototypes of Proactive SafetyTM and highway autonomy features.
