Simulation plays an integral role in the development of Zoox’s self-driving capabilities. Not only does it allow us to test and validate our software before it’s transferred to our vehicles, it also provides a safe environment for us to test edge cases that our vehicles don’t often encounter in the real world.
In this video Zoox’s Senior Manager of Simulation, Yongjoon Lee, introduces our approach to simulation while showing some examples of it in action.
