This is our series video explaining how self-driving vehicles drive themselves. This episode is about mapping and localization.

Mapping is one of the core modules of Level 4 self-driving technology. It replicates and builds models of the environment in which the vehicle is driving. Localization provides the real-time position and attitude angle of a vehicle. Localization information solves the problem of understanding exactly where the vehicle is.
