Oxa Driver software is now guiding its first autonomous shuttles.

Deployed in partnership with Beep and Jacksonville Transportation Authority the shuttles are carrying students and visitors to the Florida State Campus at Jacksonville in the US.

This means Oxa is now the first and only British company to export commercial self-driving vehicle software into the global market.

Our Chief Product Engineering Officer Graeme Smith said it all: “After millions of engineering hours in development and years of pilot-running, it’s momentous to deliver Oxa Driver as a commercial product in the first passenger-carrying shuttles in Florida.”

The first of many, this rollout will be followed by 7 others featuring Oxa technology planned for the US and UK in 2024.
