This shows our driverless shuttle prototype demonstrating a semi autonomous run from a start point to the entrance of Nalanda Complex, IIT Kharagpur. Steering is completely autonomous while throttle and brake are controlled by the driver.
Lane Detection, GPS Waypoint Following, Collision Avoidance and Adaptive Path Planning are some of the technologies that constitute the autonomous driving system.
We are currently building algorithms to handle more chaotic areas involved in a complete autonomous run.
