Atlatec can deliver maps in Lanelet2 format. Together with Atlatec’s map relative localization, this allows you to use them in your autonomous driving application. The map format is routable and encodes traffic rules. It allows you to query relevant information, like conflicting lanelets, valid stoplines and traffic lights. This can be used to foveate and get more out of your vision algorithms. In the last part of the video, we show a digital zoom on the traffic lights to demonstrate a simple map-assisted traffic light state detector.
