Precise localization wherever a vehicle travels is a vital requirement of automated driving. In collaboration with Hexagon Novatel and STMicroelectronics we have created a localization solution powered by high-precision GNSS, IMU data and artificial intelligence-based visual odometry to ensure safe automated driving in urban canyons, through tunnels and underground.
