In order to create the most advanced AV product—and deploy it to customers on a global scale—it’s not enough to build the best AI or drive the most miles on the road. We also need a constellation of tools to support and accelerate the development and productization. Cruise is taking an integrated approach, building both the AV tech and the ecosystem of tools that are actually needed to deliver on our mission. Having full control of the ecosystem gives us a competitive advantage: better technology specifically designed for our needs and much faster iterations.
