(video) Self-driving shuttle in Autonomous Transit System in operations

This Autonomous Transit System (ATS) currently operates 6 Group Rapid Transit (GRT) SAE Level 4 Autonomous shuttles, which are currently in their 3rd generation.
The system first started operations in 1999 at the Rivium Business park at Capelle aan den IJssel in Rotterdam and connects to the Kralingse Zoom metro station.
The 3rd Generation shuttles were re-deployed in December 2022 and features new Safety compliance and Safety tested autonomous driving systems, which can operate in a segregated lane application.
The system is freely available to the public users who travel on the system daily.
