In the above simulation, we worked with our partner, Siemens, to model an OS1-128 and OS2-128 at a city intersection. By using simulation of our sensors detecting vehicles in three dimensions, software can be built that identifies approaching vehicles, or potential accidents and can control the traffic signal accordingly.
PreScan, from Siemens, is a simulation platform consisting of a GUI-based preprocessor to define scenarios and a run-time environment to execute them. PreScan comprises several modules that together provide everything an ADAS system developer needs. An intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) allows you to build your scenario and model your sensors, while the Matlab/Simulink interface enables you to add a control system. When running your experiment, the visualization viewer gives a realistic 3D representation of the scenario.
