(video) Transporting baggage autonomously at Changi’s Airside

Baggage is transferred between the aircraft and terminal building on tractors driven by ground handling staff. These transfers can be disrupted during heavy downpours. Changi Airport Group is trialling the Auto-Dolly Tug®, which can move autonomously without the need for a driver, reducing delays in delivering baggage to passengers under poor weather conditions. Watch how this is being trialled at Changi Airport’s airside.
